A voice note from Lori usually sits right here. The sample is on its way.

You told me two things before you asked the question, and they matter more than the question. You want a Sweet Little Business, and you are full.

Here's what I see. "Full" is not a ceiling. It is a pricing signal and a capacity signal, and your AI read it as a growth signal because that is the default story it has been fed. A group program is a growth move. It adds a launch cycle, marketing you do not currently do, a curriculum to maintain, and a room full of people whose progress depends on each other. For someone building toward Growth Mode, that can be exactly right. You did not pick that.

The tired feeling is evidence. I would take it seriously before I take the launch calendar seriously.

So the first question is not "group or not." It is: what does full actually cost you right now, and what would you want if you could design it? Three moves are on the table that keep the business small on purpose.

One. Raise your rate for new clients and let attrition do the pruning. Full with a waitlist is a wonderful problem. Say it out loud on your site.

Two. Change the shape of 1:1. Fewer, longer engagements. Or a lighter tier for alumni that costs you almost nothing to deliver.

Three. Keep the curriculum. Do not launch it. Turn it into the thing your 1:1 clients get between sessions, so every engagement gets better without adding a single call.

If, after that, you still want a room of ten people learning together because you would love the work, build the group. Then it is a delivery decision, not an escape hatch.

What I would want to know next: how many people are on your waitlist, and what your current clients say they would pay for more of you. That is evidence. The launch calendar is not.

You get the written answer every time. When there is a voice note or a short video, it lives here too.

What you asked

I'm a leadership coach, 1:1 only, and I'm full. My AI keeps telling me the obvious next move is a group program so I can "scale past the ceiling." I've drafted the whole curriculum with it and honestly it looks great. Something about it makes me tired just reading it. Is a group program the right call, or am I missing something?

What your AI kept telling you

That a cohort is the natural next step, that 1:1 does not scale, and it gave me a twelve-week launch calendar.

Now you have another piece of evidence.

Before you take this back into your AI, notice what a human did with it. Did I:

  • challenge the premise?
  • connect something your AI missed?
  • ask for evidence?
  • simplify the problem?
  • change the next move?

That is the part AI is not built to do for you. Keep it in the loop.
